Performances
Ah, how passions change! After years of the seemingly endless pursuit that makes up the life of a freelance artist, I’ve decided to shift my priorities. Keeping a small studio of high school and adult vocalists, a return to the University of Central Missouri, and the growth of my work in ministry provides a full plate of experiences that I love. Add to this my acceptance into the Doctoral Program in voice pedagogy at Shenandoah University (an online program) and you can see I, once again, have quite a full plate. My vocal endeavors, moving forward, will be selected based on a desire for a pleasurable/memorable experience, not necessity. I’ve learned how to say “No”…and it only took me 30 years!
Performance Calendar Update!
June 21, 2025- a little Fête de la Musique at 2016 Main in Kansas City. With a great group of artists, come enjoy French music from a variety of genres.
December 23, 2025- It wouldn’t be the holidays without Handel’s Messiah! Another critically acclaimed performance by Spire Chamber Ensemble and Baroque Orchestra, with Ben Spalding, conductor. Venue and ticket info TBD.
And I’m sure this list will grow…it’s summer, after all!

Recording project(s): One completed, one delayed but still underway!
I am working with the incredible pianist/composer John Hardesty on a solo recording of his works. John’s compositional style and emotionally-charged skills at the piano leave audiences breathless and wanting more! It will be available on a variety of online outlets.
The release date remains TBD, but the recording itself (IMHO) will be worthy of the wait. UPDATE: As always… All I can say is stay tuned!
